Laura Bronson is a Chicago based illustrator from Anchorage, Alaska.
She has been drawing her whole life and attributes this to years of watching cartoons and reading comics! Even when Laura was a kid, she would color on her shoes and doodle on every homework assignment. Her work is often inspired by her love of animals, nature, and bright colors. Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts in Illustration from Columbia College Chicago, where her art was displayed in various showcases and exhibitions. She recently graduated with a Master of Arts in Elementary Education at Roosevelt University, where she founded the Roosevelt Art Club. She teaches at Latin School of Chicago where she loves to draw with her students.
Laura likes musical theatre, dinosaurs, french fries, skiing, snorkeling, kayaking, rock climbing, traveling, video games, singing, dancing, playing the ukulele, and her favorite color is pink!
